The facade and interior design of the hotel spell old world charm, very much a traditional hotel with 24-hour concierge and attentive bellmen. Breakfast was fabulous and the breakfast salon, although windowless, doesn't feel claustrophobic. I visited during the Christmas holidays and the staff didn't falter in service nor showed displeasure for being on duty during the holidays. The wi-fi worked seamlessly too. Most noteworthy besides being in a fantastic and quiet location close to the Arno, is the possibility of vehicles entering the zone without being fined. Guests could even use front parking space when available

Its a very nice and charming hotel with a great location and for a very good price. It was not in the middle of the action by choice but was only a couple of minutes walk from the river bank and about 12 min walk from city center. We had the classic triple room, they offered a smart solution of a double and single rooms with a shared door. The rooms were tiny but furnished in a smart way with sufficient bathroom and closet space. There was a cafe, ice cream shop and restaurants across the street from the hotel, this was very convenient for a quick bite or relaxation after walking the tourist attractions all day

The location was unbeatable, fifty yards from the waterfront, ten minutes to the Ponte Vecchio (which all the other major attractions are very close together), less than ten minutes to the railway station, close to a supermarket, but still relatively secluded. The hotel was attractively decorated and was clean. My standard bedroom was very comfortable. The breakfast was a great spread. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Considering all the above I felt it was excellent value for money. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Florence.

Basically, the hotel and our flat were very ok. What we will remember in a particularly positive way was the professional and friendly response to a problem we had with our flat, specifically the extra beds for our children. Without any trouble and discussion, a new room was provided for the children after our complaint, at no cost to us. Such a quick and guest-oriented reaction and solution is not a matter of course and we would like to thank the staff and the management once again especially for this! The parking service has also always been excellent.

The bed was just perfect along with the pillows and the shower area was ample providing many toiletries and fresh towels when you needed them along with daily housekeeping service. The breakfast options were tremendous - hot and cold items available with various cheeses, tomatoes, cucumber, several combinations of meats, yogurts and bread options to toast and many sweet rolls/pastries along with good strong coffee and a variety of juices and waters. The staff even helped suggest places for dinner that were outstanding in a city as large as Florence.
